NAPIER. LAUNCH DISASTER

An echo of the Doris launch disaster of December last, when 10 waterside workers lost their lives, jY-as heard iu the Supreme Court this morning, when a settlement "as reached between Janet Low. widow of Norman "Wallis Low, and her children, in an originating summons against John T. Fenwick, owner of the launch.

An agreement was reached'for the payment of £I2OO. Tile widow receives £4OO, and the remainder is to be held in trust* for the children. Other cases "’ill be heard tomorrow.
