The men were found inside the premises, hut made a fight for it, and batons had to he used.

Warned by a postal official living opposite, after seeing lights in the stores, the police officers- entered quietly. They came on the three men in) The darkness, anditook them completely by surprise. Two of the men made an attempt to- escape. They were tackled 'by the policemen, and .for a few minutes there was a “regular Donnybrook”, the police being compelled to draw their batons. In a few minutes the three men were under arrest.
