A FATAL DRINK.
CHILD TAKES MOTHER’S MEDICINE. (Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aliy 25. John Kuklahder, - aged two years, who was admitted to Auckland Hospital on Wednesday evening after drinking the contents iof a mediciiio bottle a|> bis parents’ borne, died this morning. The- medicine was prescribed for neuritis, and was made up by a chemist for the child s mother. Tlio written instructions *>3l th c bottle stated' it was Li be taken, diluted in water. The child -was playing in the bouse in the afternoon and went into the ■ room in which the medicine was kept. Airs. Raklander entered the room about 4 o'clock and found the boy lying °n the floor ill a coma with thp empty medicine bottle near. The child could not be roused and whs taken to hospital.
