A series of four train murders, m which the victim was hurled oat of a carriage door while the train was travelling at full speed, is striking terror into passengers iu the Diion district. In no case-lias the assassin been traced.
Two murders took place in the Dijon tunnel. In one -• case, Francois Rlois, a wealthy Prussian businessman, aged 60, wag stabbed to the heart before h 0 was thrown i u the tanned. M. Rlois was carrying a big sum of money, which (was stolen. Fears are expressed that all the murders arc due to the same man, tind that others may follow.
