Zacbariah, Tattersail and “Murrain.” Turning to oils, he painted a most effective scene oil the Waikato R'iver, doing practically all the work upside down and completing it in approximately two minutes.

The Savage Club orchestra, under the capable baton of Savage Mainland Foster, contributed several excellent numbers and combined ideally with the Savage Clu's men's orchestra in several choruses , selections from “The Arcadians’ 7 proving especially popular. . Two sketches provided uproarious merriment, the first being “Ganelin and! the Rajah of Chutney” and the second, which also savored much of ;• musical duet', by Savages AY. No ad and 11. F. Forster. Mr J. Lyle scored heavily with humorous items, bis uiterprefcation of “Over the Garden Wall” especially making the audience rock with laughter. Mr Gaston Mervale contributed a musical monologue Til his usual excellent style. On the vocal side, the concert was also very strong, and! solos were rendered by Savages W. Bignell, J. Parker, and R. Nicholson. Savage AA 7 . Ivohn and party were in excellent voice in a vocal , quartette. Savage Kohn proved a very able accompanist.
