TOKOMARU BAY GOLF CLUB. (Special To Tlie. Times). A large gathering of players and those interested in golf attended the official opening of the links at Tokomarn Bay during the week-end. Tho day was sunny and cool, and idral for the afternoon competition. Tho president of the men’s club, Air. D. E. Ramsay, welcomed the players, new members arid friends, and declared the links opened for the season, at the same time calling on Mrs D. Lumsden, the president : of the Ladies’ Club, to drive the first ball. Tho results of the mixed foursome competition'are as follows: Aliss AI. Mackay and J. Todd squared with Airs. Luriisderi and J. AleLeod. Airs. G. Oates and D. Lumsden squared with Aliss E. Jackson and 11. Oates. Airs. Niven and L. Cooper heat Aliss E. Oates and A. Johnson, 2 up. Aliss R. Savage and P. AliirpHy boat Airs. N. Oates and A. Forrester, 2 up. Mrs. J. Wilson and P. Fairlie boat Miss D. Cohole and N. Oates, 1 upAirs. F. Nathan and P. Te Wai beat Aliss L.
