BMurray, 2 down; S. F. .Gordon 2 down. Tlie tie between J. Rowland and G- B. Murray in the medal handicap was won by J. Rowland by three strokes.. RUGBY The Opotiki Rugby competitions were continued on Saturday in fine weather, very close games resulting as follows: — Seniors; Country 6 v Qity 3; O.M.P. 6 v Old Boys O. Tliis completes the first round, O.M.P. having three wins, Country 2. Old Boys one, and Qity nine. Juniors: Country 3 v City OjO.M.P. 6 v Old Boys 3. Whakatane reps, will visit Opotiki on June 3 and play a friendly game.
