No attempt to introduce the system of Soviet government in Canada will be tolerated, and the system of noucohtributory unemployment insurance will he introduced in Parliament bv the present Government, the Primo •Minister, the Rt. Hon. R.-B. Bennett, told a delegation ' from, the National Committee,-of Unemployed Councils today, sof ar as,:any , desire' to institute aijy! Soviet; system, which the delegation evidently desired, is” concerned. ' Mr. Benifctt stated'that-six applications had to-day by the , Minister .of .Labor,. Mr. Gordon, ‘from .people who had - been scut by Soviet Russia, 'asking that they bo {pqfmitted-td.eoijijo. back to .Canada. ; There were , many evidences, Mr. Bennett continued,’ that 'conditions' in Russia -wore far different from those under 'which the delegation lived in ,Canadg,' under; liberty'iiijd decency.
