VISITORS FROM VICTORIA TO INSPECT N.Z. SHORT VIST BUT BUSY TIME PROSPECT® IN AUSTRALIA BRIGHTENING LAND STILL TOO HIGH (Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Jan .17. A party of farmers from Victoria, wlio will spend a. fortnight touring Hew Zealand, arrived by the Mariposa from Melbourne. Some are accompanied by their wives and daughters, tile iwliole party numbering 77. They intend in the short time available, lo study as much as possible of the dairying, pastoral, and agricultural methods and conditions in New Zealand, and will visit both islands. The tour lias been arranged by the Bendigo Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Society, in collaboration with 'tlio New Zealand Government Tourist Bureau Department.

The leader of the party is Mr A. J. Anderson, s hoopla Her, of Cali vie, and Mr E. G. Ham, secretary of the’ Bendigo Agricultural and Pastoral Society, is acting as secretary of tlio tour. i
