The Huddart, Parker Company’s now intercolonial motor ship, Wanganella, arrived at 2.10 a.m. after her first trip from Sydney. Her average speed was 16 knots, though a speed of 17 knots was exceeded at times. When her engines are properly run in it expected that the Wangnnella will be capable of 18 knots. Perfect weather was experienced throughout- the trip, except lor tog at the entrance to Wellington harbor; otherwise the ship would have arrived at about 9.30 p.m. yesterday. Excellent weather also was experienced on her maiden trip from Belfast to Sydney,
