REGENT THEATRE
‘FAITHLESS”
To be born to the proverbial "golden spoon”, to have every luxury and advantage that wealth ran give a pleasure-loving youth and thenpresto!—to be plunged into the slough op poverty. That is the calamity which befalls Robert Montgomery and Tallulah Bankhead as eo. stars of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s screen drama, "Faithless”, which comenccs at. the Regent Theatre today. Tt ic strong dramatic fare, which the spontaneous glamour of the two starring personalities give emotional strength and fire. Paired for the first time as lovers, Montgomery and Miss Bankhead make an ideal team. They should inspire in those who' see this picture a desire for a continuation of the arrangement which brought these two stars of separte studios together in the same film. The supporting shorts arc particularly good. There is an exciting fishing thrill in. "Sharks and Swordfish”, some good laughs in “Our Gang” and some harmonious singing by the Welsh National Choir. This programme will be screened again on Monday.
