Al arch 10. -Mrs. Dorothy Olivia Saunders, of Ted ford Park, lullingslnirst, Sussex, who is well-known in sporting circles in this country and India, has ..sold all her racehorses owing to a clause in the will of her mother, the 1 nito Airs. Russell left nearly the whole of her C 10.977 estate to her daughter for life. and 'then to her children, “provided that they shall not own any racehorse, in which event they are to forfeit all benefit.” Airs. Saunders told a reporter: “.My mother always objected to my owning racehorses. At the time of her death .1 bad four racing in pidia besides my stables boro. To observe conditions of the will I cabled to India to sell my horses there, and sold II others at Ascot; ill December. I lost, heavily, you might say thousands, by Inlying to sell them like -(hat. I have no horses racing now. .1 cannot understand my mother's objection to racehorses, ns she once bought one from me • and won a race, with it the same day.”
