This evening:, TYA wil broadcast a studio concert to which Mr. Denis Sheard. the popular Australian tenor, will be contributing. Misses Phyi lis and Edna Tye will provide mezzosoprano and pianoforte numbers, respectively. A first clas s programme will be presented by the Salon Orchestra and there will be a topical talk* by Mr. A. B. Chappell. The main portion of the vocal programme from 2Y Ath's evening will b e given by the Aeolian Male Quartet, who will be heard in quartettes, duets and solos. Also on the programme will be Miss Evelyn M. Robinson (contralto). The Savoy Banjo Trio will play popular numbers. The Salon Orchestra will supply incidental music and selected electrical recordings will he included in the programme. Dr J. Hight,, rector of Canterbury College will be the lecturer of 3YA’s •’internfational programme, isepakmg on “New Zealand-Amencan Relationships.” Silent day at 4YA.
