CABINET STILL CONSIDERING PROPOSALS. t (British Official Wireless.) . RUGBY', August 17. Hie Cabinet sub-committee met this afternoon for threo hours, and continued its study of projects before it. A week of important political events began with the return to London this morning of the Prime Alinister with Alessrs. P. Snowden, A. Henderson, W. Graham, and J, H. Thomas. Air. AlaoDonald will tomorrow continue his preparations of the proposals. Oil Thursday, the Alinisters aie to explain the financial position of the general council of the Trades Union Congress and the executive of the Labor Party, and they will probably also be in consultation with the leaders of the Conservative and Liberal parties.

It- is believed that tho problems were found more difficult than was expected, especially the proposal to tax fixed interest-bear-ing securities The Daily Herald says that one of the decisions of the day . was that no social services wRI be abolished.
The Adorning Post’s Paris correspondent states that- Mr Baldwin is again leaving for London from Aix les Bains, in response to an urgent summons..
