The Basle experts’ committee adopted the Layton report recommending six months’ prolongation of Germany’s short-term credits of approximately five milliards marks ■an condition the central banks of Great Britain, France and America, •also the Bank of International Settlements, which, h'as already granted Germany £20,000,000 credit are prepared to renew this for six months commencing to-day The report also favors fresh credits to Germany subject to certain conditions.
