(Press Association) WANGANUI, August 18. A Maori named (Nikoriki, of Korinite, ou the Wanganui River, is alleged to have attacked his wife with a piece of wood last night and thou cut his own throat. Tile mail died, but the woman survived, sustaining a broken arm and bruises. 81ie was brought t 0 Wanganui Hospital., Ivoriniti is about 40 miles from Wanganui, situated in rough country. The deceased is alleged to have been touring with a company making a Maori movie.
