LORRY AND CAR IN COLLISION

AIOTOIUST SLIGHTLY INJURED (Special tev the Times.}, OPOTTKI. Feb. 2.4. A sedan ear owned and driven by Air C Hambly, of Opotiki. was damaged to the extent of £SO to £6o.tliis afternoon as the result of, a collision With a motor lorry driven by Air 'Clayton, of To Karalca. The collision took place on the corner of the main road about onb mile from town, Air Hambly having pulled up when he saw the lorry coining, which- Crashed into the right-hand side of the car. The wheel on that sido was broken off, the mudguard was completely wrecked the side of the car hadly knocked about, the windscreen'broken, and'the windows v oii the other side of the car broken. Air Hamhlv received cuts on the' face ! from broken glass. The lorry and driver escaped damage. The car is insured.
