Mr. lies Alorgun -and liis Orchestra will provide the instrumental portion of what will be a popular concert. A wide selection of items will be presented. including- foxtrots, and a number entitled "Old Time Waltz Rem. cries.“ -The vocal items will be provided by MR-, Patricia McLeod, (lyric sopranok Alls? Atolly Atkinson (mezzosoprano) and Air. D- R- Jackson (bari. tone). A lecture-recital by Air. Earl Atkinson will be on '‘Vienna—The City of Music." Instfumental soloitems will be played by Miss Ida Lockwood (violiniste). Mr. C., Hoffman (saxophone) and Air. W. Bright (trumpeter). *"■ The fourth of the series of International prosrannnes will be presented by 2YA. Dr. Guy 11. Seliolgfieiq, Q.8.E.. will give a talk. A popular concert: will be broadcast by 3YA. It will be contributed by Miss Augusta Painter (soprano), Mrs. 0. .J. Stow (mezzo-contraltoL Mr. A\. J. Bisehlagor (tenor), the Syncopatora (piano, and violin). Air. Ilarokl Beck ( cellist), the Christchurch Broadcasting Trio and The Mascots, a cle'ei duo who will present the first pait of a serial sketch entitled ' Rent liee Mis.s Cicely Audibert (soprano) will give her Hand Dunedin recital. Aliss Helen E. Rod. Air. E. AY. Robbins and Mr. Noel 11. North are also vocalists on the programme. The instrumental trio is to present selections from Meu. delssolm, AYidor and Schubert, whilst the Trio pianist, Mr. Max Selierek, is playing Chopin’s ‘‘Ballade, in-A Flat The IYiA, 2YA and oYA Homo Science Talk, for tomorrow afternoon, prepared by the Home Scienco Extension Department of ’University. will, be “Fruit Preserving."
