Tlie Daily Mail says that Amy Johnson plans an eight thousand miles solo flight from London to Peking, staa-ting in. the morning if the conditions "permit. But, late last night, there was a. prospect of a fog. “X determined on this flight two months ago”, she said. I” have done everything myself, and so that my plans should not leak out, I got friends to buy at different shops, plans of countries over which I must pass.” Miss Johnson expects to reach Moscow via Berlin and Wsft’saw. in threcy days. There the landing wheels will he replaced by skis. “From Moscow”, she adds, “I shall go to Samara, thence, by Omsk following the trans-Siberian railway, to Irkutsk and Chita, across 'Gobi Desert to Peking. This trip thrills me more than the flight to Australia, because much more of tho fortto is unknown and beyond Moscow..there are no recognised landing places. I shall always wear a parachute.” Miss Johnson proposes to come back by another route. START DELAYED Of P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Jan. 2, b a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1.
