When the, Supreme .Court sessions at Gisborne open on Tuesday next, His Honor the. Chief -, Justice, Mr. M. Myers, will be faced with a fairly light calendar of business. Three criminal cases are set down-for trial, while, in three others, His Honoi will pronounce sentence, Five civil cases are set down for hearing before the judge alone, but it is ' understood that more than one of these will not com© up this time. Four divorce petitions are to be heard and also two applications for making decrees absolute. A number of bankruptcy and miscellaneous matters are also set down for hearing.
