-Despite the wintry weather that prevailed on Saturday afternoon, 32 bowlers, including a team from the Poverty Bay Club, attended at the Gisborne Bowling Club’s green. Some interesting contests were played. Results: Orr pairs, semi-final of losers’ sec-

then required three to win, and by consistent drawing managed -to secure the necessary points, defeating his opponent.by one. Nasmith meets P.yke and Stephenson in the final of the losers’ section, and the win-
ner plays Clark and H. Bright, wiriners of the winners’ section, in the final. ; .
