MISS COPP LESTONE TO MAKE ATTEMPT.
(Fresß Asaooia.tion.) ASHBURTON, March 23. Miss Lily Copplestone intends to attempt tlie Wellington, harbor swim on Sunday, March 31, starting from Wellington wharf at'lo.3o a.m.; her objective being , Day’s Bay.
OLYMPIC CLUB The final events conducted by tlie Olympic Swimming Club will lie bold iii th’o "High. School baths tomorrow' (Tuesday) at 5.30 p.m. Three cup races will 'l° decided as follows: For the points cup between Miss It. Watkins, A.‘ DeCosta, A, Clark, and 11. Turnbull over a. 33 1.-3 yards distance, and the two final distances for tlie Swan Cycle Cup, over 33 1-3-yavds and 100 yards.
