Newton (Waijcato) ; beat Mrs. Swan (Gisborne) (j—l. G—4. Ladies’ doubles.—Misses Newton and Rukutai beat Mrs. Swan and Miss Te Ua, 7—5, 6—3. , The Marumaru Gup ' fo r the best aggregate by tribe members in the championships was won by Arawa (Rotorua).
