Suspected counter espionage is behind a supposed murder in the Bois de Boulogne of a Belgian named. r de Lattre, who recently tried to sell to the War Office a German device for stopping aeroplanes'in flight. Close to the body detectives found a letter, which read: . ‘ I told them to give the documents for nothing if necessary.. If anything happens to me you will know it was they who struck-the blow.” ' . V De Lattre had mentioned fear.-of reprisals for something which he* had done. Secret service men had shadowed De Lattre for some davs.
