The car was returning to Thames, flte occupants having visited Frank •Shepherd, -mitriager ' of/the Hauraki mine. Mr.- W. Wilson is -foreman of Price’s-Foundry, Thames. The driver thought he heard another car coming and pulled toward the bank. The wheels got in a watertable. and he was forced to speed up, with the result that the car left the road; ;
