A drought ot long standing is killing off the sheep, and the voung wife, who sincerely loves her inis''and. finds hersqlt neglected. Sam Randall, a herder, ‘seeks to win her from her husband, who, engrossed in his'dying sheen, pays her little attention. The o'i max is reached when' Randall is kdled by Dolores after he invades the young wife s room. The finale is as remarkable as it is natural, hut it would he unfair to the public to reveal it. The story provides Miss Goudal with abundant opportunities for the display of her talents as a dramatic actress. In directing tho picture, \Y i - Ham K. Howard discarded the scenarist’s scrip ami developed the pot according to the psychology of the p avers and the events as they transpire;!
