(Received Nov. 5, 8 p.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 4. , A message from Prescott (Arizona) says: “When the monoplane “Yankee* Doodle” flying from_ Los Angeles to New York, attempting a West-East trans-continental record, crashed in Crook Canyon near there on Saturdav .night. Captain Charles Colleyer, pilot, and Harry Tucker, owner of the plane, were killed. Ten days ago, Colleyer created an EastWest record of 24 hours 51 minutes. He was also the holder of a round the world trip in 23 days 15 hours 21 minutes completed on July 22last.
