COMING OF AGE PARTY. (Special to the Times.) TOKOMARU BAY. Oct. 31. On Monday, evening last Mr and Mrs Yeoman entertained a number of voting pimple at (heir home in honor uf the coming of age of Miss Grant. On Tueylay afternoon, in the Masonic Hall a meeting, called'by Mrs C. Burdett, was held of nil ladies interested in providing an Xmas tree* for the children living between the Te Puka Hotel and Ongaruru.' There was a large attendance and. after some discussion, it was decided to provide an Xmas Tree and entertainment in the hall if possible, the last week before Christmas. Miss Pepper has returned home from a holiday, in Thames. Mr J. L. Grant is at present holidaying in Christchurch. Nurse Bain is at present in charge of the Maternity Home in the absence of Nurse Morris, who has had to undergo a serious operation.
