London borr oughs and 338 county and non-county boroughs of, England and; Wales, u in London alone, -where the' - elections aretriennial, 1374 councillors have to be chosen for the ensuing three years, and some keen contests are expected. One hundred and fifty of the" London vacancies have already, been filled owing to no opposition being offered:, to candidates.! Of these all are Municipal Reform candidates except three Labor representatives... ' \ ."'Municipal Reformers have nominated 1300 candidates in London. Labor is also represented/with a candidate in most, constituencies, and'(although; there are, •some .hundreds 6f Liberal candidates, the 'main, contests are between Municipal, .Reformers and Labor!
