A fire in the City Council’s new power house at Bunncrong destroyed a large quantity of valuable switch gear belonging to Metropolitan Vickers, Ltd. A fireman named Hayden , was entrapped in a corner of, the store. He fought his way through the flames'and fell, exhaustted just as liis comrades managed to reach him and pull him to safety.
