AMATEUR MEETING TOMORROW.
The athletic track . season will be official ushered' in to-morow evening when ithe Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Clnb, will hold the first of the series of evening meets that have been so popular witlf the public in past years. Hue to the efforts of chib members a new quarter 'mile circular running and cycling track has been ,laid down whilst a iOOyds sprint track lias he'en prepared in- the. centre of the Oval, on the Childers Road Reserve, and both ar° reported to be in good condition foi to-morrow" - evening’s programme. Tho meeting will coiiiinencp at 5.15 p.m. sharp. The programme comprises 75yds ladies’ handicap, 75yds men’s handicap, 880vds men’s handicap, and’a one mile cycle handicap, and shot putting. - _
