Owing to ,an attack of influenza Mr. John Mason, Reform candidate for Napier, has, acting on medical advice, entered a private hospital. The many friends of Mrs. Headley, of Hastings, who underwent a serious operation on Wednesday, will be pleased to know that she is progressing favorably. Mr. McWilliams, the radio operator oh the “ Southern Cross”, has, at Sydney, booked his passage for his return to Wellington by the Makura, saiUng on Thursday.—Aiist.
