A new flight of flying boats is being formed at Plymouth, anch will fly to Basra, where a new Empire base is, being opened. A remarkable flight was performed by a Cirrus Spartan light plane with a pilot and passenger from Loudon to Berlin and return in under six hours each way. The fuel costs were less than £3 return per head.
