Moortoe Valley Gold Cup, one mile 31 furlongs.—Nawallah 7.9 (.J. Daniels) 1, Mondiaga 0.7 (P. Hynes) 2 Demost 6.10 (W. Elliott) 3. Fourteen started. Yodclist, Black Duchess, Knlloni, Seventh Hbavcn and Nawallah were prominent most of the way with Bacchus tailing off. Mondiaga put in a claim rounding the turn, but Nawallah cleared right away in tho straight and won by three lengths, with a length and a half between second and third.
