POVERTY BAY SEASON. TRIAL GAME TO-DAY. Poverty. Bay’s polo season will commence at Bushmexe this afternoon when a trial game, Possibles v. Probables, with a view to selection of ?. Poverty Bay team to travel to 4* eilding next March in quest of the Saville Gup, will be played All the leading players of the district are expected to be in action and tlie standard of play, even so early in the season, should lie verv high, us players will be spurred on by the incentive of possible selection in the tour:ng team. It is quite possible, also, that a B team will lie sent to Feeding next year, should the standard of play, justify it and the matter of the heavy expense be overcome.
