The remarkable series of collapses of buildings in Europe continues. The roof of a new brewery in Hamrun in which workmen were engaged, fell in, killing two and injuring 29. A company of Royal Engineers is assisting in the rescue work. _ Tlie entire police force is holding back thousands of anxious spectators, including grief-stricken relatives of the missing men.
