SYDNEY, Oct. 23

The flagship Australia arrived and berthed at Circular Quay, Sydney, at 5.35. o’clock this morning. The sun was just rising. About 70 relatives and friends of the crew waved handkerchiefs. Other wise there was no demonstration. Even passing ferryboats were silent. The Australia’s crow must, have wondered whether tliev were in a foreign port, so painfullv flat and unostentatious was the homecoming to the largest city of the Commonwealth. Public inspections will be permitted during the next few days.
