LONDON, Oct. 7. princess Mary and Lord Lascelles were warmly welcomed on their arrival at Dublin, though they were an hour late. They breakfasted with the MacNeills at Vice-Regal Lodge, and later proceeded in an all-steel bullet proof motor car under a strong guard to Portumna. where the crowd cheered them at Portumna. Monsignor Joyce, the parish priest, was invited to dine last night with Princess Mary and Lord Lascelles, who this morning attended a harvest festival at the Protestant church. LONDON, oct. 6. Two arrests have been made at Loughrea in connection with the fire at Lord Lascelles’ Irish seat at Portumna. A Rugby message states that Portumna Castle, Galway, the scene of Thursday’s five, was bequeathed to Viscount Lascelles by his uncle, the late Earl of Clanricarde, tho millionaire peer who died 1 in 1916. The viscount’s interest in the estate was greatly esteemed bv the country people, who were looking forward to the visit of Priiicess Mary with keen anticipation.
