Earth shocks arc continuing at Maeusani, and buildings which remained standing after the first shocks have now collapsed. Shocks) of the greatest intensity continue in the districts of Iruntn. Ayapata and Ollachca. The town of ltuata is in ruins. Three are dead and many injured. The inhabitants arc panic stricken. Taipa lias -doon destroyed. There are four dead at Ollachca.
