Tl.-ey flew from sunshine into dark cloud, the fumes burning their eyes and throats. They bad io fight their way through, and were thankful to see blue skv again. He expressed the opinion that although their time from Tokio to Paris was a record it could easily be beaten. He was confident that the distance cc-uld be flown in under six days. They found the long flights less tiring than the short ones, and became accustomed to the shortage of food and sleep. The President. M. Eoumergue, gave a reception to tlie aviators, who were after acclaimed by a huge concourse of Parisians.
