Imperial Conference.
PREMIER PREPARES STATEv MENT. DISCUSSION THIS SESSION UN- , • CERTAIN. ■WELLINGTON, Dee. 2. In the House this .afternoon the Premier stated that he hail had a statement prepared on the business transacted at the imperial Conference, and he was quite prepared to lay that statement on the table, but he did not think an opportunity would arise for discussing it. Mri Holland: We don't want it unless we can debate it. Continuing his remarks, the Prime Minister said no change has been made in the method of communication between the Dome authorities and the Dominion. There was optional power to do this if the Governent thought it advisable, but it Lad retained the existing channels as being perfectly satisfactory. As a result of a further discussion, the Prime Minister expressed doubt as to his ability to provide a day for discussion, and Air. Holland reiterated his objection to the statement being laid on the table if it could not be discussed, and matters were left at that.—P.A.
