Cochrane announces he has come to terms with five leading British amateur tennis players to become professionals after Wimbledon, to play in Mdlle. Lenglen's tour. He is trying to induce Mdlle. Lenglen to play a singles match against a man for flic first time- in her career.
(In connection with this message it would appear that an error has crept in, as Mdlle. Lenglen played a match in 1923 against a London male player and was bndlv beaten.
