OPOTIKI CLAIM

(Special to the Times) OPOTIKI, April 7

This morning at six o’clock, Norman E. Guide, Opotiki, heard a station, presumably broadcasting from Holland, as the announcer said- ’‘Hulloa”, then spelt a name, and finished with “Holland here.” This station has been heard at Z.J.F.8., Opotiki, nearly every morning for about a fortnight, the music Being steady and clear, but to-day was the first time the speech was intelligible.
