“THE JOHNSTOWN FLOOD.”

Heralded far and wide as the greatesi/ wonder spectacle ever produced, Irving Cummings’ production, “The Johnstown Flood” for Fox Films, is closing to-night at the Palace Thetre. George O’Brien, hero of “The Iron Horse,” “The Man Who C'ame Back,” “Havoc,’,’ “The Roughneck’" and “Three Bad Men,” is seen in the leading role of a young woodsman. The role offers a new opportunity for the handsome Fox star to display his histrionic talent and winning personality. Florence Gilbert, remembered by all as the dainty heroine of the celebrated “Adventures of Van Bibber,” Richard Harding Davis’ rollicking stories produced by Fox Filins, is cast in the leading role opposite Mr O’Brien. Janet Gaynor, new screen find placed under a long-term Fox contract, has been cast in one of the feature roles. Miss Gaynor was recently unaanimously chosen by 'the Warn pas (Western Association of Mo-tion-Picture Advertisers) as one ol the Thirteen Baby stars sponsored by that organisation for the approaching season. Paul Nicholson, Paul Panzer, Walter Perry, Georgie Harris.and Anders Randolf are seen in prominent, roles in support.
