PEACE SHIELD TOURNAMENT
The wet weather on Friday and Saturday had a bad effect on the Peace Shield tournament conducted by the Gisborne Bowling Centre. Play was continued on Saturday hut the games were interrupted on several occasions by heavy showers oi rain and the competition was not finished at the end of the day. The tournament will he continued up to January 16 when the date for the final will be arranged. The results of Saturday’s play are as follows :—■ THIRD ROUND A Section. . Stoneham 15 v. Dudfield 14.
