A young woman named Fee, slipped when stepping off a moving tram, and the wheel passed over her right arm which had to be amputated. DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. CHRISTCHURCH, August 2. John James Jackson, a porter, employed’ at the Albion Hotel, Lyttelton. died suddenly yesterday. He had not been looking well during the morning, and the licensee advised him to go to bed. He collapsed < few minutes later. At the inquest today a verdict was returned of cfearn from heart failure. SUDDEN DEATH. DUNEDIN. Aug. 1. Hannah Harneiss, a married woman who was admitted to. hospital on Thursday suffering from burns received by Tier clothes catching fire died this morning.
