NATIONALISTS

CAPETOWN, May 8. Much surprise lias been caused by the announcement that Sir Frederick Moore, former Premier of Natal, has gone over to the Nationalists. Addressing a meeting at Victoria West, Hertzog denied that, any undertaking had been given that secession propaganda should cease. The only undertaking was that during a period of co-operatio'n of the Nationalist and Labor parties no step would be' taken in Parliament to get a* republic. —A. and N.Z.C.A.
