A conference of State Atinisters_ for Agriculture carried a resolution affirming the principle of the applicationand maintenance of tariff protection for all commodities which are or can he produced within Australia in quantities sufficient to meet requirements, and also passed a resolution recommending the Federal Government to totally prohibit tho importation of citrus fruits into Australia.—-TOP.A.
