BRITISH INDUSTRIES FAIR
MINISTER APPEALS TO DOMINIONS FOR SUPPORT.
LONDON, May 5. At a Government luncheon on the occasion of the British Industries Fair, at which most of the High Commissioners were present, the lit. Hon.' Sydney Webb, President of the Board of Trade, who presided, expressed the hope that the Fair would influence British trade in the same manner as the Leipzig and Nijninovgorod fairs did. Conuiiontnl trade before the war. He urged the !>itish Dominions to participate more prominently in the fair. Ho quoted figures to show that British trade was the ar.:-b successful in the world. Sir James Allen said so long the excellence of British manniactu was maintained the Dominions always would be open to receive British trade —A. and N.Z.O.A.
