ARTIST’S PEN-PICTURE OF THE KING. *
LONDON, May 4. Mr Sims, the artist, replying to criticisms of the King’s portrait, says that his idea w r as to take an accurate representation of the King, which has not been done for many years. “Most x>ortraits,” he states, “show the King as a young man, with brown heard. He is ‘no longer young. His features exhibit the qualities of kingship, w'itli the weight of responsibility of such a position as he holds.
